Supervisión de statistics de networking a través de libvirt

Estoy intentando supervisar y recolectar statistics de la networking en time real del sistema del huésped con libvirt a través de la console del sistema del anfitrión (kvm). Recibí resultados tan extraños:

¿Por qué las statistics de las interfaces tienen valores diferentes? Por ejemplo, los bytes TX con valor 75850619 (75,8 MB) de vnet0 difieren en bytes RX con un valor 73854152 (73,8 MB) de eth0.
